Our GoodTower Services Division of Chesapeake Systems, LLC, has an immediate opening for a HVAC Helper.

The GoodTower Services Helper has the primary responsibilities of completing cooling tower repair and rebuild jobs.  This includes but is not limited to cooling tower fill kits, shaft kits, fan change outs, internal coatings, and heat exchanger cleanings.  This position reports directly to the GoodTower Services Manager.

The successful candidate will have reliable transportation, a great work ethic, use of basic hand tools, ability to work in all weather & confined spaces. Experience preferred. Excellent salary & benefits including a 401k.



  1. Troubleshoot cooling towers and associated controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.

  2. Assist Lead Mechanic & Jr. Mechanic in completion of jobs in a timely manner.



  • Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.

  • Ability to tolerate hot and cold weather.

  • This position has required overtime.

  • Ability to work on roof tops without fear of heights.

  • Must be able to use a computer to access, input and retrieve information.
